The Canadian women’s water polo team got its first win in the Tokyo Olympics on Wednesday — and it was a big one.
Team Canada beat South Africa 21-1 to improve to 1-2 in the preliminary round after dropping the first two games to Australia and Spain.
Gurpreet Sohi, from British Columbia, scored four times for Canada.
The Canadian team will face the Netherlands on Sunday as it attempts to come out of Group A and into the quarterfinals.
