Corey Conners recorded a third-round nine-under 62 at The Northern Trust, the first leg of the 2021 FedEx Cup Playoffs.
This is the Canadian’s lowest-career round in his PGA Tour career. Conners’ previous low-round was at the Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, TX, where he shot a 63.

The 29-year-old began his round at Liberty National Golf Course with a 29 on the front 9, which consisted of five birdies and an eagle. He shot a two-under 33 on the back 9, where he posted four birdies, two bogeys, and three pars.
Conners entered this week ranked 36th in the world. The top 70 golfers in the FedEx Cup standings advance to next week’s BMW Championship, taking place at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Hills, MD.
Conners’ 62 matches his career-low round in Canada, recorded at his home course of Listowel Golf Club.
