Canberra Raiders vs Sydney Roosters start time, results, news for Round 25

Rugby league legend Andrew Johns has backed the Raiders to leap-frog the Sharks to claim the last finals spot up for grabs ahead of round 25.

The Raiders currently sit in ninth, tied on the same amount of points as the Sharks who sit in eighth, but with a worse differential.

The Sharks have a tall order in front of them as they prepare for a must-win clash against the Storm tomorrow evening, and Johns believes the Raiders will get the jump on them when they clash against the Roosters tonight.

“I think the raiders will be the Roosters,” Johns told Wide World of Sports’ Immortal Behaviour.

“I can’t see the Sharks beating the Storm actually. But I can see the Raiders beating the Roosters.

“Just win. If you win you don’t have to worry about the other scores.”
