In my recent video lesson, I’m showing you how to crush the Sicilian Defense when you are playing White. Of course, you’ve got to be aware of this if you are playing the Sicilian Defense as Black. You will learn the Smith–Morra Gambit which happens after the opening moves: 1.e4 c5 2.d4 cxd4 3.c3.
One of the biggest advantages of this gambit for White is that you cut down a whole bunch of opening theory.
For instance, after 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3, Black can play the Najdorf, the Dragon, the Sveshnikov, and what not!However, you can drag your opponents out of their preparation with this sharp gambit, which is extremely dangerous for Black. You’ll learn the common setup for White, typical ideas, and some interesting traps. I will also show you an interesting trap that Black can use against White, which ends the game in just a few moves.
