QB streaming is a prominent strategy amongst fantasy football managers. Let’s discuss QB tiers and streamers you should have on your radar as you set your lineups for Week 4.
While individual rankings will always be valuable for weekly decisions, a tier-based approach at QB can help find similar production ranges.

Fantasy QB Streamers for Week 4
The general premise of a QB streaming strategy in fantasy is to shuffle your quarterback each week based upon opponent rather than stick with the same guy no matter what. It is all about identifying favorable matchups that week and adding the appropriate QB off waivers.
When searching for top streaming options, I look at Vegas betting lines, the opposing defense’s fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks, and projected game script.
Let’s take a look at the QB streamers for Week 4.
Justin Fields, Chicago Bears
Let’s not sugarcoat Fields’ first career start — it was bad. Fields didn’t look ready for the occasion, completing just 6 of 20 passes for 68 yards. He’s rostered in over half of Yahoo leagues, but I expect that to drop when waivers clear on Wednesday.
Fields had a tough draw in his debut start on the road against a strong Browns defense. In Week 4, he gets to play at home against a Lions defense that allows 22.2 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks.
Fields’ best attribute is his rushing. The Lions allowed Lamar Jackson to rush for 58 yards last week, and it should’ve been more.
The Bears opened as touchdown favorites. When it comes to Fields, we don’t want a negative game script because it makes Chicago one-dimensional and prone to mistakes. Expect Fields to fare much better this time around.
Sam Darnold, Carolina Panthers
Darnold is quietly off to a strong start from a fantasy perspective. He’s scored at least 19 fantasy points in each of his first three games. And he’s done so despite not trailing for a single second.
This week, Darnold is going to be trailing at some point as the Panthers face their toughest opponent of the season in the Cowboys. Dallas’ offense will force Darnold to throw in order to keep up, especially with Christian McCaffrey out due to a hamstring strain.
The Cowboys are missing multiple defensive starters and have been average in terms of fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks. This is a situation where Darnold may eclipse 40 pass attempts. He’s a great Week 4 QB streamer.
Teddy Bridgewater, Denver Broncos
The Broncos are somehow a small home favorite against the Ravens in Week 4. Sure, they’re undefeated and have looked great along the way, but they’ve played the three worst teams in the NFL.
The Ravens are easily the best team and best offense the Broncos have seen thus far. But Baltimore hasn’t been great defensively. Prior to holding Jared Goff to just 9 fantasy points in Week 3, the Ravens allowed Patrick Mahomes and Derek Carr to score 33 and 25 points, respectively.
Bridgewater is clearly not on the level of Mahomes, but he’s not much worse than Carr. He has good enough weapons in Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick, and Noah Fant. Plus, he should be throwing more than he has through the first three weeks as Baltimore forces Denver to keep pace offensively.
Bridgewater is far from being the top Week 4 QB streamer choice, but he’s a serviceable option if you find yourself in a bind.
